 5 Digital Collage Images

  • Search the Internet for LARGE digital images that you would like to cut and paste into a pastiche collage.
  • Each collage should have some sort of background (either an image, a pattern, or a solid color) onto which you have pasted elements from other images in order to create a unique and multi-layered composition.
  • Make use of the various tools, layers, filters, and color adjustment techniques we will cover in class.

Anaglyph 3D images Anaglyph 3D is the stereoscopic 3D effect achieved by means of encoding each eye's image using filters of different (usually chromatically opposite) colors, typically red and cyan. Anaglyph 3D images contain two differently filtered colored images, one for each eye . How to create a 3D anaglyph in GIMP Set up your layers. Label your background layer "Left." Duplicate that background layer and name it "Right." Isolate the color channels by layer. Select Blending Options, and then pull up the Advanced Blending feature. For your Right layer, uncheck the "R" channel in the RGB row. This will isolate the red in your layer. For your Left layer, uncheck the "G" channel. This will isolate the green in your layer. Adjust the perspective by layer. Start with your Left layer. Navigate to Edit, select Transform, and then Perspective. Click and drag the top left corner of the layer upwards to increase the image by at least 50 pixels. Do
