 Final Project Our final project consists of making 3 images that are manipulated. The goal is to make them look as realistic as possible. Examples of what could be done are: -An impossibly small person  -An impossibly large person  -A levitating person -A person with superpowers or who does magic -A person with useless/dumb superpowers -A person who performs an impossible feat Some examples are:

Directions: - Cuts should be clean, with no slivers of skin showing. Any clothing or props you have had to reconstruct should be seamlessly integrated. Areas around deleted body parts should be feathered and blended with the background.  Make sure to fill in any areas where the viewer should be able to see inside the clothing.

The Invisibles How to Make Yourself Invisible? The basic idea behind making yourself invisible has to do with taking a “base image” of yourself or anyone else and then taking supplemental photos to composite over top the base image. For example, if you want to make your head invisible, you would take a photograph of your head and then another photograph of your shirt in the same place. When you combine these photos together, it will look like the shirt is filled out from the base photo, but there will be no head from the photo of just your shirt. Steps to follow: Once you have assembled all your photos together, it is time to bring everything together in Gimp. To start, place the “base image” on the bottom of your layer stack. This will serve as a foundation in which you will composite all the other photos over.   Clones - 3 Cloned Images - At least 1 must be a self-portrait - Critique: March 13 Directions: -Shoot photographs following directions given in class. -Utilizing the skillsets, tools, and filters that you will learn in class, create 3 images in which -you clone a single person multiple times. -Images should be believable. How to use the Clone Stamp tool:  Here’s how you can use the Clone Stamp tool to remove an unwanted area in an image while retaining the background. Take your pictures and practice.  1. Open it:  Open the image you want to work with. 2. Sample it: Select the Clone Stamp tool and hold the Option key (on Mac) or the Alt key (on Windows) to bring up the crosshairs. Click the area with your cursor that you want to serve as the sample point for your brush when you do your touch-up.  3. Clone it: Once you’ve got your sample, adjust any brush settings you want in the top drop-down menus brush size, opacity, blending modes, and so forth. Then paint with your brush over the
